You won't need java to you can ignore the java message if there is one, you only need it to view timesheets, which we won't be doing.
Once you are in click on Device Manager, then Devices. The problem time clocks have always have a yellow exclamation next to it.
I'm not 100% certain if this order will work everytime, but I usually do a test device under troubleshooting. Refresh the page until it shows Test Device in the Last Action with a status of Success.
If that doesn't fail, then click on Actions, Start Data Collection, and then refresh until that shows success.
It usually stays at the yellow exclamation point until I do another Test Device, then it will turn green. Check in after but so far, if it shows green, the issue has always been fixed.
